Mazda Dealer Incentive Japan

On behalf of the Dutch Mazda distributor, 2convince organized a beautiful incentive trip to Japan for Mazda dealers who had surpassed their earlier targets. In Tokyo, participants enjoyed the unique and multifaceted Japanese culture and lifestyle. Subsequently, the Bullet train brought the visitors to the exceptional city of Hiroshima, also home of the Mazda Corporation. Visits included the Mazda production plant and the nearby Museum, and of course the impressive Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park was also part of the program. All participants – about three dozen – were full of praise for this varied voyage.

DENSO Europe Communications strategy

For years, 2convince is supporting events – big and small – organized by DENSO Europe. September 2017 we had the honor to support DENSO with the organization of their Press Conference at the IAA International Motor Show in Frankfurt. And again in 2019 we supported DENSO Europe at the IAA; this time with a live stream of their press conference hosted by Tom Coronel. This opportunity presented many challenges; from the sourcing of all AV services – within budget – to the editing of speeches to make them suitable for a European audience, to the coaching of Japanese speakers, less at ease in a foreign language. The unexpected turnout, with all seats occupied, a smooth presentation and ample media coverage plus the huge online audience were much appreciated by the client and formed another milestone for 2convince. In the meantime, 2convince developed a multi-year communications strategy for DENSO, including social media, PR and events.

Nissan EV Symposium

Nissan has a great advantage over other car manufacturers if fully electric vehicles are concerned. For over a decade, the Nissan LEAF has not only found its way to many private and fleet owners. The Amsterdam cab service Taxi Electric is also using the LEAF in the region and for transport to Schiphol Airport. Since 2015, public transport service Connexxion uses Nissan vehicles as well, more specifically the eNV200. More than enough reason for Nissan to host an international congress on electric vehicles used in the public domain. Of course no one was better prepared than 2convince to organize this demanding and complex event during the last AutoRAI. More than 150 invites from Holland and abroad were individually picked up at Schiphol Airport and brought over to the various venues in electric Nissan vehicles. For two days, Amsterdam was the center of the world for experts in electric transport. Authoritative speakers from Nissan and the public transport sector shared and exchanged views and experiences. Since practice makes perfect, several driving experiences with the Nissan LEAF and the Nissan eNV200 were included, like a GEO Caching round trip along the Amstel river, the Arena Stadium and the Zuidpark, as well as to an electric canal cruise boat.

“During the AutoRAI we hosted on behalf of 2convince a Nissan congress – in partnership with the city of Amsterdam – about sustainability and how the automotive industry responds to this. That fitted in nicely with Rosarium Restaurant, where “green” is an important issue. 150 guests were taken to the RAI in electric cars, although the event location is nearby. We had an electric car in front of the entrance. Everything had been thought of and was organized with this “sustainability” theme in mind. The food (naturally organic) was taken from our own garden and the juices were organic too. All went very well. So much so that you almost did not feel that there were so many people inside. I was very proud to be part of that. If the client is completely satisfied, but I still see some improvements, it can sometimes gnaw. After each event it is not what went well that we discuss, but rather that what can be improved.”
