INNOVATION THAT EXCITES
The Nissan Experience at the former airfield of Valkenburg was completely dominated by the Nissan brand including all Innovation and Excitement that goes along with it, like superfast race cars, the awesome GT-R rally versions of the Micra and of course the NISMO editions! The guests were introduced to all existing innovative Nissans like the iconic 240Z, the Figaro, Juke NISMO, the new NOTE and the new all-electric Nissan LEAF.
Every Nissan employee who works in Amsterdam at the Nissan Motor Parts Centre, Nissan Trading or Nissan Netherlands could take up to 4 guests for this special day. Who? That didn’t matter to Nissan! We offered free entrance and of course, we took care of delicious snacks and drinks. Nissan employees could register for the event through a special website. For those who needed them there were special buses going from Amsterdam to Valkenburg.
There was plenty to do in four different ‘areas’. In Hangar 2: from gaming on the PlayStation GT pod to listening to the DJ from the Qashqai DJ, viewing the Red Bull F1 car and the spectacular Nissan DeltaWing Le Mans racer. And of course the inside and outside view of the latest Nissan models such as the new Note, the new Micra and the new LEAF.
Outside, there were plenty of activities on the High Speed Area, the Off Road Area and the Drift & Test Area. People could drive one of the 25 test cars, a 4 × 4 on the specially designed off-road course, do a slalom ride in one of the Micra Rally cars, the Nissan Dakar truck drag, a Nissan forklift or ride with the spectacular Nissan drifters or in one of the rally’s 350Z! The NISMO Lab attracted a lot of attention too. So there was a lot to experience for all ages. Each location had its own ‘hospitality’: comfortable seatings, plenty to eat and drink, WiFi, toilet facilities and first aid – we thought of everything.
The children were also entertained. Children from age 6 were welcome in the Nissan Experience Centre in the indoor Hangaar2, where they were kept busy under professional guidance.
Shortly before the event took place, Nissan Netherlands also decided to make use of the facilities that were originally built only for a day. So one day before the Nissan Experience, an event for 200 business relations of Nissan took place, with more or less the same program.
The total organization of the Nissan Experience was orchestrated by 2convince, including concept, communications, planning and execution. With the help of loyal suppliers in different areas 2convince was able to make the Nissan Experience a successful event in a very efficient and effective way.
